The last time I hooked up my charger to the battary for my 14.4 volt drill the charger got fried. I just thought it was not working anymore but then when I got the new one and hooked it up it fried also. It only took a couple of minutes. So now I have sent the battary and charger back to Skil to see if they can determine the problem and why it would happen. This drill is only used for residential use.
